Port Huron Skatepark Project

The City of Port Huron has worked hard to win a grant from the Tony Hawk Foundation, awarding matching funds to build a new skatepark, at $250,000. First, we come together to figure out what our dream skatepark will look like. A group of local riders have volunteered to help plan and design the park, including Rich Pond, Jacob Hager, Jon Schrader, and more. We are looking for your input! We have created a community poll, gathering your input on the skatepark. This is where you can give your ideas and get involved! We hope to have early ideas finalized as soon as possible to allow ample time to plan. The survey is linked at the bottom of this article.

We will be holding a meeting on Sunday, November 11th at Alpine Cycles, starting at 4pm. This is your best chance to make a difference at the park.

There is a Facebook page called “Port Huron Skatepark Project” where we will be releasing all the information as it becomes publicly available. Information can also be found on our website, at alpinecycles.biz/skateparkproject.
